Her passion for broadcasting all began when she was a little girl. At just eight years old, Alex was doing the weather for her family in their living room, not that well, but the drive was there.
She spent the majority of her life in the Rocky Mountains. Alex was born in Wyoming, and grew up in Colorado where she graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a B.S. in Journalism.
Then, it was back to Wyoming. She spent the last three years at K2TV in Casper, Wyoming where she reported on everything from crime to politics. She also did weather on the weekends. While the Cowboy state taught her a lot, it was time for her to get out of the wind, and soak up some of that California sunshine.
Which brings her to Fresno, where she reports, and does the weather on the weekend.
Alex believes that journalism is a way to touch people's lives, dive into the community, and find out what makes it tick.
When she isn't working, she is out and about, exploring, running, paddle boarding, and playing with her puppy.
You can email Alex anytime if you know of anything going on in the community, or have a story that you think needs to be told. She would love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org.
