There were some tense moments for residents in a southwest Fresno neighborhood after power lines touched and fell to the ground, creating a massive blaze Tuesday afternoon.
Residents say it sounded like the 4th of July.
But no one was celebrating especially when the fire started to grow.
Mary Oliver says, "It was just a wall of flames, and it was blowing towards my house. We just got the water hose and started to wet down my house and trailer."
Residents say PG&E crews were to blame, because they were working on the lines minutes before.
PG&E officials say they admit crews were working in the area on an adjacent line, but have no idea what caused the other power lines to touch, arch and break apart.
PG&E says it's still investigating.
No one was hurt by the flames.
