A woman whose home was ransacked while she was away on a trip is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the return of her property.
Tasha Whitmore, of Three Rivers, a small city in the foothills of Tulare County, said thieves stole more than $70,000 worth of personal items out of her home last month.
Gone was her horse trailer, a truck, three motorcycles, tools and even her mother's wedding ring.
"[It's] gust unbelievable that you could take that much stuff and be that greedy," Whitmore said. "I'm just really disgusted and sick to my stomach."
She said she went and scoured a local swap meet to see if any of her belongings would turn up for sale. But no luck.
Now, Whitmore has employed the help of a private detective agency to help track down her stolen property. She's even offering up a $10,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to the return of her property.
