Rainy-Day Crash In Clovis Sends Man To Hospital
CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) —
Police are trying to figure out if the wet weather contributed to a car accident in Clovis that left a man hurt.
The crash happened shortly after 9 a.m. Friday along Herndon, east of Villa.
Clovis Police Sgt. Jim Koch says a car crashed into a tree in the center divider and rolled over, trapping the driver.
Emergency crews freed the driver and took him to the hospital. His condition was not immediately known, but police say he was conscious.
No one else was in the car.
Sgt. Koch says the roads were slick at the time of the crash.
