Man Shot During Home Invasion Robbery In Sanger
SANGER, Calif. (KMPH) —
A man is recovering after being shot during a home invasion robbery in Sanger.
It happened around 7 p.m. Monday along Academy Avenue near Central Avenue.
The 47-year-old victim told Fresno County Sheriff's deputies that seven to eight people forced their way into his home and demanded cash.
When he refused to tell them where his money was, one of the suspects shot him in the leg then took off with his wallet and cell phone.
The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. He's expected to be okay.
