Fresno County sheriffsdeputies are investigating a homicide in Kerman.
That's where a man was shot and killed in frontof a neighborhood grocery store.
Deputies answered thecall just after noon on Sunday.
When they arrived,they found a man's body just steps away from the market.
Witnesses tolddeputies the man was enjoying a beer and suddenly he was shot.
The victim's familywas called by a friend who thought he was a relative.
"All I wanted toknow if it really was my uncle. And then we got here and someone told me thatit was somebody that did know him. It was just heartbreaking, it washeartbreaking," said the victim's niece, Sandra Valdez.
She describes her uncle, 46-year old Antonio Reynoso, as a loving man who left behind four small children.
The family stoodvigil for hours, desperate for answers.
Not far away, deputies continued to dig for clues hopping to track down a killer.
"And it doesn'treally matter to me. Whoever did this, you know I hope they are bring tojustice. But just as well there is a greater power out there and justice willbe prevailed," Valdez said.
