A large marijuana farm near Selma was busted Thursday.
The farm was about 10 to 20 acres in size, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said.
The marijuana farm was in plain sight, deputies said.
"Just being in the open like this I'm surprised that somebody else hasn't come out here," said Chris Curtice of the Fresno County Sheriff's Office. "Kids, high school kids or anybody else hasn't come out here and torn plants out."
Authorities estimate that there were around 8,000 to 10,000 plants being grown.
An anonymous tip led deputies to the area. Deputies also said they were not sure who owns the land and who planted the pot.
No arrests have been made.
