Fresno State's New Head Coach Anxious For First Practice
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
The Fresno State football team opens practice at the end of the week. Players report Thursday to pick up their equipment before taking the field for the first practice Friday.
There will be 29 sessions to get prepared for the season opener against Weber State.
First year head coach Tim DeRuyter is installing new schemes on both sides of the ball. It is the spread on offense and the 3-4 on defense.
All but one of the practices will be in the morning. All sessions are closed to the public, with the exception of the Bulldogs' first scrimmage on August 11th.
