Fresno Police Make Meth Bust at a Retirement Village

Fresno Police say they made a meth bust at, of all places, a retirement village.

On Saturday, officers pulled over 64-year-old Robert Short.

Short was on parole, in connection to methamphetamine sales.

Officers checked his car, and say they found 4 ounces of Crystal Methamphetamine, small plastic baggies, and electronic scales.

Afterwards, officers searched Short's home, at a retirement village near Fresno Pacific University.

Officers say they discovered even more methamphetamine, heroin, and a small meth lab.

They say the crystal meth had a street value of $1700.

Short was booked into the Fresno County Jail for charges including transportation of narcotics, possession for sale of narcotics and processing methamphetamine near a school campus.
