F-16 Fighter Jet Lands Safely At Fresno International
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
An F-16 fighter jet landed safely Wednesday morning at Fresno Yosemite International Airport after the pilot experienced some engine problems.
The traffic control tower reported that a "low oil pressure" indicator had been tripped on an in-bound F-16, said Fresno Fire Department Public Information Officer Koby Johns.
The aircraft, which is stationed at the Fresno Air National Guard on the airport, circled the area for more than half an hour in an effort to burn off fuel before landing, Johns said.
