A flight bound for Los Angeles was forced to make an emergency landing in Visalia on Wednesday.
Great Lakes flight no. 7161 flight was grounded after the pilot found that an oil pressure gauge was not functioning properly and had to return to the Visalia Airport for repairs, said officials with the Visalia Fire Department.
Five fire units responded to the airport at approximately 7:14 a.m. While on their way there, fire officials were notified that the aircraft was on the ground safely without incident.
No injuries to the passengers or crew were reported during this incident.
