'Dogs Bid To Keep Hawaii Winless In MWC
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
Fresno State, coming off a big come from behind win at New Mexico, will finish the regular season with two of the last three games at home.
The Bulldogs, bowl eligible at 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the Mountain West, begin the stretch drive Saturday afternoon at four, hosting Hawaii.
The Warriors are winless in conference play, but Fresno State will have plenty of motivation for the game.
Head coach Tim DeRuyter points to the fact that the Bulldogs have already played 75 percent of this season's schedule, and the seniors are facing the final games of their career.
DeRuyter adds his guys just love to play football, and don't need to be told to get amped up for games. Especially those in front of their home fans at Bulldog Stadium.
Saturday's game against Hawaii is set to kickoff just after four.
