7 year old Quinn Callander of Vancouver is raising thousands of dollars for his friend's expensive surgery. So far he's raised more than $55,000 - all with a homemade lemonade stand, and a social media campaign.
His friend's right arm and leg are affected by Cerebral Palsy. He's been going through painful therapy so he can walk. But now the boy needs surgery that, if successful, could have that young boy walk without braces.
Quinn says when he learned his friend needed the $20,000 surgery, he wanted to help.
"When I got home, I wanted to tell my mommy and daddy that I wanted to build a lemonade stand to help raise money to help him," Quinn told a reporter recently.
The boy's surgery is scheduled for next month.
