Bad day for Bulldogs in Vegas

The men's team had an 11-point halftime lead and then watched Nevada explode in the second half to win going away, 83-72. The Wolf Pack turned around the game with a 25-2 scoring blitz that flipped a nine point deficit to a 14 point lead.

The defeat ended Fresno State's six game winning streak.

The Bulldog women's team also lost, falling to Boise State in the Tournament Championship game, 66-53. Fresno State trailed most of the game.

Junior center Bego Faz Davalos set a conference record with her 21st double-double of the season, scoring 11 points with 14 rebounds.

The defeat was the second in as many years in the Mountain West title game for Fresno State.
