Ryan Jacobsen from the Fresno County Farm Bureau visited Great Day to talk about the Mandarin.

Ryan explained why they are seedless and why they net the trees this time of year.

Ryan says the nets are to keep bees from bringing pollen from other types of citrus trees, which would cause the fruit to have seeds, lowering the value.

He also said most citrus is self-pollinating.
