An inmate at a state prison who walked out of the prison's reception center over the weekend was caught Tuesday evening in Parlier, prison officials said.
Michael Howard Devlin, 42, of Riverside County, had been serving a five-year sentence for a weapon and substance abuse conviction when he escaped from Wasco State Prison's minimum security facility on March 2.
A statewide alert was issued.
Devlin was arrested by U.S. Marshals around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
