A Visalia radio station was knocked off the air Tuesday morning due to a fallen tower.

K100 (99.7 Classic Rock) went off the air at approximately 11:30 a.m. after a truck clipped one of the supports and pulled the tower down.

The station is working to put up a temporary tower. A low-power version of K100 is anticipated to be running by the end of the day on Thursday, December 6, but it will not cover the entire market.

K100 estimates to return coverage to more of the market within two weeks. Plans for a long-term solution include building a new tower and full-power antenna.
