The Central Valley is drying out after a weak thunderstorms rolled through most of the area Monday.
Many viewers sent in storm pictures to the KMPH news room and posted pictures on the KMPH Facebook Page.
The pictures show a lot of rain and dark clouds covering the sky. Several pictures also catch lightning strikes and video show pouring ran.
The break from scorching heat may soon be coming to an end, however.
By Friday, temperatures are expected to jump back to triple digits with highs on Saturday and Sunday reaching 103 degrees.
