      Owls Rescued From Mariposa Wildfire Released Back Into Sierra National Forest

      Two baby owls that were saved from a large Mariposa County wildfire are now back in the wild.

      The two owls, known as Puff and Fluff, were found on June 20 and were rehabilitated.

      After a steady diet, the two gained their strength back.

      They were released back into the Sierra National Forest this week.

      The wildfire, Known as the Carstens Fire,{} is now in the Clarks Valley and is believed to have been caused by an unattended camp fire.
