      Obama Nominates Kerry For Secretary Of State

      President Obama is tapping a one-time rival to be the next Secretary of State.

      Friday morning, he announced the nomination of Senator John Kerry to the post. He said Kerry will not need on-the-job training.

      The senior senator from Massachusetts has served as Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and is a decorated Vietnam veteran.
