KMPH-TV News, at the FOX Affiliate in Fresno, California, has an opening for a nightly news anchor/reporter to co-anchor the station's highly rated 10:00 p.m. newscast and serve as a field, sweeps, or franchise reporter as assigned. The ideal candidate will compliment a successful, long-term anchor who is well established in the market, and will be someone who will become an effective team member with him and the rest of the newsroom staff. KMPH offers a true "team" atmosphere where regular coaching and critique are part of the culture. The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a full-time news anchor at a network-affiliate television station or at a cable news network. Fresno, California offers an outstanding quality of life, with the Pacific Ocean only a couple of hours away, Yosemite National Park an hour's drive, or a weekend in Los Angeles or San Francisco less than a four-hour drive. The people are friendly and the cost of living is reasonable.
