Missing Porterville Man Found Dead; Father Speaks Out
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) —
A South Valley father wants to know why the Tulare County Sheriff's Office lied about the last time he saw his 23-year-old son alive.
Gerald Noble, of Porterville, was reported missing back in August.
Detectives told KMPH News and other media outlets that Gerald and his parents got into an argument before he disappeared.
On Sunday, a family riding horses found bones near Lake Success. Dental records confirmed it was Gerald. Now authorities believe he took his own life.
Gerald's father is furious with detectives for telling the world he and his son fought the last time they saw each other.
Now the Tulare County Sheriff's Office is changing its story and says, "additional information was later received that this did not occur."
