Memorial Grad, Keller, Leaves Bulldogs
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
Memorial grad and freshman offensive lineman, David Keller, has left the Fresno State football team, and his future is uncertain at this point.
Keller, who missed the first two weeks of fall camp while a NCAA clearinghouse issue was resolved, was not at practice the last couple days, coach DeRuyter says he has not returned any phone calls, and that the team is moving on without him.
Keller's mom tells the Fresno Bee that "He's just decided to go another direction. We wish Fresno State the best. He doesn't know exactly where he's going to play next. We're just taking a breath right now and we'll figure things out."
Keller is a 6' 4", 295 pound, highly recruited offensive lineman.
