Madera Man Nabbed In Connection To Ramming Stolen SUV Into 22-Mile House
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) —
A man accused of ramming a stolen car into the front doors of 22-Mile House in Madera County has been arrested.
Abel Ramos, 23, was arrested by Madera County Sheriff's Deputies on Tuesday. Deputies say that Ramos was armed with a gun at the time of his arrest.
The arrest comes nearly a month after KMPH aired surveillance footage of the incident where deputies say Ramos used a stolen SUV like a battering ram to smash through the businesses glass doors.
Shortly after that, deputies spotted the stolen car and arrested three of the passengers, but Ramos, who deputies say was driving the SUV, escaped.
Ramos is facing three felony warrants and will remain in jail without bail.
