Least Expensive Meat For Your Memorial Day Grill
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
If you're planning on barbecuing for the Memorial Day weekend, the meat you slap on the grill will probably cost you more.
Steak prices are up 12% in the past year. Ground beef is up 10%. Higher feed costs and drought conditions are cutting into cattle production.
Even hot dog prices are up - nearly 4%.
But if you are looking to save money this Memorial Day weekend, throw some chicken on the grill. Poultry cuts are less expensive right now.
