George Zimmerman Trial Verdict: Not Guilty
Associated Press - The jury found that Zimmerman was not guilty of second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of black teenager Trayvon Martin.
The jury could also have convicted Zimmerman of manslaughter, but declined to do so.
The decision comes nearly a year and a half after Martin by was killed by Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer.
The incident sparked outrage and lead to a national dialogue on race and self-defense laws.
