Easily Boost Memory and Creativity
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
The next time you're looking for some creative inspiration, try going for a walk.
According to researchers at Stanford University, walking can help spark a flow of ideas. They found people who walked, performed better on creative tests. In fact, 81% of people had improved test scores after taking a stroll.
Experts think mild activity, like walking, stimulates brain connectivity involved with learning and memory.
Previous studies found taking three, 40 minute walks a week also improved the mental health of older adults.
