Now that the Fresno State football team has won the biggest game on the schedule, beating Boise State, there might be concern about a possible letdown Saturday night at Hawaii.
Head coach Tim DeRuyter says he is taking steps to avoid any potential pitfalls.
The team will fly to Hawaii Thursday, and will stay in an isolated hotel on the North Shore, far away from the distractions and nightlife of Waikiki Beach.
DeRuyter also says execution of the game plan will be a key.
Fresno State is ranked in both national polls with a record of 3-0.
Hawaii is 0-3.
