Firefighters are working trying to put out two different wildfires burning in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near North Fork.
The newest one is burning in steep terrain in Madera County just south of the Mammoth Pool Reservoir.
It started Monday morning and has spread to about 1,000 acres.
The fire forced people out of the Fish Creek and Rock Creek campgrounds.
People living nearby are on standby to evacuate.
A fire burning northwest of there also grew overnight.
The El Portal started Saturday and has grown to over 3,000 acres and is less than 20% contained.
The fire has been burning near the community of Foresta and evacuations are still in effect right now.
More than 700 firefighters are helping fight this fire.
