A Fresno man remains in jail after police say, he drove drunk, rammed into two vehicles, and seriously hurt two people.
Police say 41-year-old Esteban Lujan was driving Sunday night, in the area of Dearing and Kings Canyon in Southeast Fresno.
They say he reversed into a parked car, then sped into a parked van.
This pushed the van over the curb, where it hit a woman and a two-year-old child who had been walking on the sidewalk.
Witnesses say Lujan then drove away, but was stopped shortly after.
The woman and child were taken to Community regional medical center.
Lujan faces charges including driving under the influence of alcohol, hit and run, and driving with a suspended license.
He is also in custody on an immigration hold.
