14-Year-Old Shot In Reedley; 3 Suspects In Custody
REEDLEY, Calif. (KMPH) —
A 14-year-old was shot near North and Hollywood around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Reedley.
Police say the child stopped breathing but was revived and is now in critical condition.
Police say a black Chevy Impala left the scene but was located and three people inside were taken into custody.
Two of the suspects are in their early 20s and one was 14-years-old.
Police say a shooting may be gang related.
The Reedley Police Department released an update to the shooting Thursday morning.
In custody are 20-year-old Jose Aguayo of Reedley, 23-year-old Jose Padilla of Fresno, and a 14-year-old Hispanic male juvenile from Reedley.
All three suspects have been charged with attempted homicide with gang enhancement. Aguayo was also charged with a probation violation and Padilla was charged for being the driver of the vehicle.
The shooting victim remains in critical condition.
