12-Year-Old Boy Shot In Fresno; Shooter On The Loose
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
Police are looking for the person who shot a 12-year-old boy in southeast Fresno.
Neighbors called police after hearing gunshots around nine o'clock Tuesday night near Illinois and Backer.
Fresno Police say a man fired multiple shots into a home, then jumped into a waiting car and took off.
The boy was hit in the upper body while he and other people were in the home. Paramedics took him to Community Regional Medical Center, where he is on life support.
Police say a motive for the shooting is not known. They don't know if the 12-year-old boy was the intended target, but they say this was not a random shooting.
